Abstract
The writer intends to suggest new ways to make meaningful Lacan's discourse abounds in metaphors dawn from Christian theology. The most obvious example is surly the phrase the NAME-OF-THE-FATHER. The writer will propose a plan to begin to use the term 'discourse' in a slighty different way, though one that still carries with it the stress on intersubjectivity (Other-Religion, Subject-soul (with 6 σωμα reality). The writer is how to tie the regimes of the other and the subject together. I desire the Other's desire for me. How can I get the Other to want or desire me? Perhaps if I can figure out what the Other (for example, my parents) wants, I can try to become it. What does my God want? What do my parents want? This question leads me to continually investigate and sound the Other's desire. Not content to figure out my own desire (whatever that might be), I ask the Other, and I ask the Subject, "What do you want?" This, I believe, would help me answer the questions "What should I do?" and "What should I be?" in order to be wanted. A human being is above all a speaking being.
